About Google I/O Extended Zwolle

This year Google I/O will be held May 8 – 10 in Mountain View, CA, but tickets are sold out and those who could lay their hands on a ticket had to pay €925,- for it.

That's why Move4Mobile, in cooperation with Google, will organize Google I/O Extended Zwolle on the 8th of May at Pathé Zwolle. During this event visitors of Google I/O Extended can follow a live stream from the Google I/O keynote. Our doors will open at 5 PM, when you will be able to enjoy some nice food. The consumer keynote starts at 7 PM.

This year, like last year, the keynote will be divided into two parts: the first part will focus on consumers, while the second part is focused on developers. Last year, Google announced two new Google Home devices, new features in Google Photos and improvements to VR and AR. We can probably expect more Google Assistant features, as well as even more Google Photos features. Google will probably announce a new product as well.

On the developer side of things the biggest reveal last year was obviously the announcement of the official support of Kotlin in Android. Furthermore, we are expecting improvements to all things machine learning, from TensorFlow to hardware Tensor Processing Units.
